Yep, you can put 40k in, you can let 40k pile up. But you can't put in 20k when there's already 20k in there, if you take it all out and put in 40k at once it works ;) So it's now a pretty minor bug that has a work around.

5. Whats a safe jump distance from a planet when probing moons? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Jump to the planet, scan for POS's, if you find one, pin down which moon it's at in a pod. (or using the scanner though I find a pod is faster at times) You can still scan the moon even with a POS there if you make a spot about 300km away ;)
